A bit big for me but the jacket is well made and i have no complaints about its durability.. a good buy.
Totally impressed! This jacket is superb. The fit is excellent and the quality of the leather, stitching, zips etc.. is way beyond expectation. I don't think you'd feel aggrieved at paying £500 for this jacket. A lovely extra touch is a neoprene flange around the collar.
Hope this review might be useful to someone looking at the brand in general and wondering if it can possibly be true.
I have a pair of Skintan armoured jeans which are excellent and so my expectations for this jacket were actually fairly high (and I am no optimist) but nevertheless they were significantly exceeded. For starters, my chest measures 41 and this 42 is a perfect snug fit. Very commendable in the world of motorbike jacket sizing.
I've lost count of how many leather bike jackets I've had over the years, most of them were "brands", several of them bearing the names of bike manufacturers. The Skintan leather is at least as good as any I have encountered, I can't remember better. Even with straight from the box stiffness it's really comfortable, even for walking about or lounging around. The stitching and attention to detail seems flawless, the zips robust and nicely concealed, there's even a rubber/felt strip round the collar so you don't get that raw leather scrape on your neck. Makes you realise how much you pay for a label, if this had a name you would need to find two and a half to three times the asking price and you would not feel robbed.
Love it! I'm sure there are better jackets out there, buffalo skin, kangaroo, goat etc but 3, 4, 6 times better? I don't think so.
