Excellent waistcoat. My first leather waistcoat. I’m not a biker but the laces at the sides offer a bit more adjustment if you change weight a lot like me. Would’ve preferred a softer leather like in the more fashion styled ones but they dont have the same adjustment (some have none) as the biker style. Has to be tougher because of the fact it’s for biking. Soft for cow hide and nicely lined and a decent weight. I tried a different make previously but even though it was sold as real leather, I returned it as it was not real leather and was as stiff as a board. Was never going to wear it. This one gives a bit so is comfy and looks right. I bought the 12 as I’m about that size (maybe a smidge smaller) and the sides meet just nicely as I am now. Plenty of room for a bit of growth. Very pleased.

Very good price for real leather. A bit stiffer than I would have liked, but will probably soften with wear. The laces are very stiff and I may replace them with boot laces instead of leather strips eventually - and I needed to re-lace them in a better pattern to keep the sides in place.
Loved the plaited detail, and the satin lining. (Unpick the label in the back if you want to wear it over a woolen jumper, as the edges catch and pill the wool)
Glad I took teh plunge and invested in this - I may bnever get that Harley Davidson but at least I can lookl teh part!
