Brando - Leather Motorcycle Jacket

excellent value for money

The ONLY niggle with this jacket is that the flap of leather next to the zip on the right side (as you wear it) could do with being an inch or 2 shorter. It's there to stop wind getting through the zip when fastened but I did find the edge can rub against the opposite zip causing little scuffs. It's not a big deal at all and is just a very minor gripe but there you go.

Other than that, this jacket is brilliant. It's top quality leather but it's not very heavy, making it comfy to wear all the time. It found the sizing to be spot on. I'm 6'1" with a 46" chest measurement and the 2 XL fits great all round with a t-shirt on yet isn't too tight with a hoodie. I recommend getting your measurement from your chest for the best fit.

I can reach my arms out without restriction and it's comfortable to drive in.

Zips are smooth and sturdy.

It's lining is standard rather than quilted so it's not too hot in warmer weather but you'll also probably want a thermal liner or hoodie in very cold freezing weather. Overall, it's a versatile design for general use rather than motorcycling which is exactly what I wanted.

This is my 4th item from Skintan. I also own a motorcycle riding jacket and 2 leather cuts and they have all held up extremely well over the passed 4 years.

was slightly skeptical about buying this jacket online, because you can never be certain with leather jackets, whether or not they will be a good fit. However I decided to chance it, and I can honestly say that I'm glad I did. It's genuinely the best leather jacket I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few. The attention to detail is terrific, and the leather is real quality stuff. The jacket also has its practical elements, as the fabric inside is high quality stuff and will certainly keep you warm. However, although it looks as good as any other biker jacket, it wouldn't be a jacket I would recommend using for riding. The material is quite thick, but it doesn't offer much in terms of protection. It's also fairly stiff initially and will need a bit of wearing in. In terms of sizing, I looked at another jacket that I own before I ordered so I could be sure I'd get the right size. Needless to say I ordered the same size as that jacket and it fits perfectly. So altogether, I don't have any complaints whatsoever. The jacket looks great, feels great, and considering the price of it, it's really great value for money. I've had jackets that were much more expensive, and nowhere near as well made and fantastic looking as this one. Top purchase, and I'd highly recommend.
